Just a quick heads up - there are some BMW driving days at Brands (June) and Oulton (September) which include driving the M3 and M4 on track. http://www.msvtrackdays.com/car-home/news/bmwevent...

Thought anyone interested in the new M cars might be interested - I'm considering booking the Brands one.

This sounds very interesting! But is it a 'bring your own BMW' and also have a quick go in the new M3 if you want?

ETA - It says BMW provide all of the vehicles...

Despite the event saying 'full day' will it be more of a 3 laps in the car type thing rather than an actual reasonable amount of time to try the cars out? Ive done one of these before and got I think 6 minutes behind the wheel!

It's all in BMW's own vehicles not your own - I'm trying to find out how much time you'll actually spend driving. It looks like some is on the road rather than track.

I'm interested in driving the new M cars but I'd want to be comfortable that you get a decent amount of driving for the money. Would be pretty cool to have a 20 mins session in an M4 round Brands with Andy Priaulx coaching from the passenger seat - but I guess there aren't enough Priaulx's to do that for everyone.

If I get any more info I'll post it up.

I was hoping to get an invite from my dealer, nothing so far.
Breath not being held.
