Hi now that Gareth is leaving Elms I was thinking of getting BMW Inspection II Service at BMW Park Lane.
Who is their best BMW M Technician as I want the best guy working ?
Thanks very much :-)

Also anyone with experience of BMW Park Lane Battersea or BMW Park Lane Nine Elms please share :-) ?

BMW Park Lane are one of the Original UK Dealers and were selling 3.0CSLs and CSIs in 1972.

I have so far only used them for Classic / Parts but my experience with them has been excellent. I used to deal with a great guy called Lee ( who sadly recently left to go to Another brand ). His fellow parts guy Jamie has taken over Lees place and he also is very helpfull and efficient.

Yes I have also used them for Parts. Lee has gone to Jaguar. Lee and Jamie are both excellent parts guys and very very helpful. I would recommend anyone with a Classic BMW to order from BMW Park Lane Classic via them.

I didn't realise BMW Park Lane were a BMW Dealer in 1972 ?
BMW Concessionaires were the predessor to BMW GB or BMW UK and were based on Chiswick High Road, London before moving to Bracknell.

I have a period Park Lane Advert from early 1973, where they are listing new 3.0CSL, CSi and CSA and also the fabulous 3.0Si, so it's likely that they were trading from late 1972.

In the early 70s, BMW Concessionaires had a small depot / garage ( which only had a PO box address ) in Dover. The batch 500 UK rhdrive CSLs passed through here.

Anyone tell me anything ( however insignificant ) about Pennine Motors ?? Of Dewsbury road, Leeds, BMW main distributors for Yorkshire from 1972 untill 1988.

I have used Park Lane for years.

Use the Battersea service centre on Stewarts road.

I normally use Grant who is a service manager and Ian who is a really knowledge technician.

Previously used to speak to Matt but he moved onto pastures new.

Never had experience of nine elms.

Matt was outstanding. Did I hear that he's moved on to work for BMW in Germany?

Care to divulge what model BMW you have them work on?

Ian is he senior or master tech or what ?

Yes I am dealt with Grant before. He is a pleasure to deal with.
I have also been given a recommendation Tom Luckett by Gareth at Elms. I have had Tom work on my CS before and never had any problems.
