Looking at getting my self a new watch, i currently have a RADO Jubile and would like something a little different.I have been looking at TAG HEUER LINKS, F1 and AquaRacer anyone got some opinions on these.some other options and recommendations would be great. Also i do not like fabric or leather strap watches.

thanks in advance

New or pre-owned? I just picked up an Aqua Terra within your budget

I'm not really fussed if it's pre owned or not.

Definitely take a look at the Tudor range...

Red or Blue Black Bay's (I like the red) on bracelets are my favourite with the Pelagos offering exceptional value for money.

Lots of threads on here about them smile

Most on here would agree they are a significant step up from a Tag and at not dissimilar money!

I chopped in an Omega AT Chrono to WF. I'm sure you could get it in your budget

Speedmaster Professional:

This could be negotiated to below £2000.

Oi, stalker wink

Better?

As said above I'd be really tempted by a Tudor Pelagos. In fact I'll probably buy one myself

Another vote for the Pelagos. At a tad over £2k used it's a no-brainer.

As you have hopefully noticed OP, no-one has recommended those TAGs you mentioned...

Some nice suggestions on here, mine would be the Pelagos as well. Had a play with one recently and quality-wise it's certainly on a par with its parent brand. A great buy.

i also noticed that theres not much love for the TAGs. The Omega Speedmaster looks really good if i'm honest. The tudor is good looking bit of kit aswell. I take it that watchfinder is a reputable site ?

Yeti would say that, yeti hates Tag ; )

He is probably right at 2k.

Aquaracer at 2k is silly the finish is not comparable to the link.

F1 is way overpriced at 2k.

Link can be bought for far less at a Tag Outlet it is the nicest finished of the three but with 2 k you can do better. Link should be 1500 at an outlet.

Seamaster Professional would be good at this price.
