Thinking of swapping cayman for a BMW am I mad?

I've got a 57 Cayman S which is on 63,000 miles so it's getting on a bit, now this is my everyday car and I'm self employed so can off set sme of the cost against my tax, but I'm seriously considering selling it and taking a lease out on a new car (not a pcp a straight lease) and I found myself drawn to the BMW showroom and really liking the look of the M235i, I've got a test drive booked tomorrow so it will be interesting to compare'

I have a 2008 Cayman thats done 53k - recently i felt the lure of a new car, 981 hasn't really depreciated enough yet - so i went to look at BMW's

I drove a 235 and a 428 - short story, I still have my Cayman!!

I was in a BMW showroom the other day contemplating chopping in my honda jazz 2k special and had a poke around the cars. Nice cruisers but I would never trade the 996 in for one.

In fact in order to get more room for family outings I'm only considering the following;

1) Sack off the idea of a 997 and get a 991 for the extra room in the back when they reach poverty pork levels

2) Buying a 964 and feeding the missus less

Autocar did a recent test; obvious results; cayman (not S) is the drivers car by a mile. BMW fast, good car, more practical (obviously)
