Sure this has been asked before but can't find the thread...

Where best to hire something big for a couple of weeks in LA - Corvette, Challenger or similar...?

Also what advice / pitfalls to avoid?

Thanks

All the big Car Rental firms can be found near LAX.
As examples, Avis and Hertz have their 'fun' car selections.
You need to do a bit of googling for prices.
I always get full insurance cover.

PS. If you have time, a nice coastal drive up Highway 1 to Malibu or further to Santa Barbara are worthwhile.

lots of thereads in the holiday section

basicly hertz is about the only big compnay that lets you rent the exact car - they have vettes, camaro ss , challenger , mustang etc

use quidco and search for some discount codes, also worth a look on the other countrys sites such as .fr .es .ie . sk .no and so on

no real pitfalls , make sure the price you pay includes damage waiver and lsi and unlimited miles - check the car and tyre tread before leaving the rental depo

Just back from an epic west coast USA road trip we hired our Mustang via this place, picked it up in Frisco, dropped it off in LA. Half the price of going direct. Dollar was the supplier.

Hertz. Had Corvettes, Camaros, Challengers and Mustangs mostly from LA airport and Vegas. No problems.

If you're looking at Camaros and Mustangs remember there are V6 as well as V8 versions. If there are 2 prices or unlimited/limited miles then the V6 will be cheaper.

I posted this ages ago - all Hertz rentals...
And since them I've had another Challenger, Camaro and a Tahoe smile
