Following on from cheapo DACS....USB Projectors

I'm impressed how when I throw a youtube music video through the hifi via the little DAC how the sound becomes very decent and listenable.

Well just trawling through Ebay I've just stumbled on USB projectors, something I'd not realised was with us yet.

They do start off at stupidly low prices and I'm wondering if they could be a bit of fun.............anyone dabbled with one?

My idea being half decent sound with a decent sized picture in a room with no TV.

Would one of these send sound to a dac and fire a video to a screen at the same time?.........how would you configure it?

i would just send the sound from the source through to the dac . looks like it could be fun at that price

If they are the compact ones, they are usually as bright as a sickly candle, and most USB screen outputs are laggy as hell too.

But you never know, it might be ok!
