Best race series for round grill Mini Cooper

Thinking of purchasing an early FIA Cooper to do classic saloons. There seems to be a wide choice of series for pre '66 saloons and looking to do one that isn't too tough on the car. Previously in the early noughties I did Super Coupes where to be honest a lot of drivers thought they were in BTCC and would rather drive through you rather than round you. Then did SEMSEC which was completely the opposite, everybody gentlemanly and giving plenty of room.

Lots of series to choose from in this case Masters Pre '66, U2TC, etc., etc.

Anybody have a view on the different series or are they all about similar especially when it comes to body munching????

How about CSCC Swinging Sixties and/ or Classic K. Can enter both series, both 40 min races with a pit stop for 1 or 2 drivers. Good value for money, excellent grids, good driving standards and a good calendar.

The HRSR series that run with the HSCC are usually a good race series, close action and a good variety of cars. Some run to Appendix K, others to the HRSR rgs available on their website.

Close but clean racing, fairly competitive series so depending on experience that may be worth taking in to account!
