After being forwarded a copy of the August 1994 Sprint by MARKS6900 (thanks mate). I was curious as to the story and whereabouts of 420 SEAC reg: D172 ALL?

This SEAC appears to have a 390 rear.. i.e. No SEAC wing.. but with an under bumper 390SE wing.

Does anyone know if the car still exists? I have looked on the www.theseacpages.co.uk but can't see it listed?

That explains that then.. Can't make out the badge, it's a bit blurry.
Was that fact known at the time of the pictures being taken David?

Edit: thinking about it, if the badge was changed, that fact must have been known. Curious why it was included in the picture then?

Right groundhog day - for one awful moment I thought I had confused it with your car - hence the panic smile

D172 ALL is badged "SE C" and was not a SEAC

as to the day - I was not there but know a man who was and will ask him

Did some restores from 2007

From the person who organised and hosted the 1994 SEAC day:

"Car is not a real SEAC

It's a real 390 se Mk1 body with a real 420 SEAC front end and a real SEAC engine in it.

It does not have an Aramid body either so cannot be called a True SEAC hence the SE C"
