Shoulder Pain!
Discussion
Back in 1998 I was training as a Police Officer at Ashford PTC. During our UDT (unarmed defence training), my partner got a little carried away and pulled my right arm around my back without me being prepared. I remember a popping sound and a lot of pain, but it was momentary. I never really had any further issues with it.
In the last 10 years it has been causing me pain, but the last 2-3 years has been almost constant.
The pain is a deep aching sensation, & with some sharp pain in she shoulder joint..particularly when moving in certain directions.
Some movements are ok, others..like raising my arm up to the side causes a lot of pain.
I also get some pain down my right forearm and hand.
After 16 years this is getting worse, not better. I have made an appointment with my Dr for next Tuesday.
I haven't discussed it with a Dr prior to this because I have always felt like it was wasting their time.. And, only go when you're dying. That kind of thing. Stupid, I know.

Not particularly relevant to your injury, but I had a nagging shoulder pain for several months, that started under my shoulder blade and gradually migrated up to my neck, then down to the shoulder, then into the bicep area. A constant nagging ache, that would never go away.
I finally saw our local GP, who told me he could either give me an injection, or do surgery....
He never even had a look at it, never felt it, never moved my arm around. Welcome to the NHS, I thought.
I decided to do the most terrible thing, and Googled it. The first answer was the most common and repeated answer: bad posture in front of the computer.
Guilty as charged, I slouch in front of the computer both at home and at work, leaning forward, shoulder slumped, neck bent, back curved. I moved things around, started sitting upright, raised the monitor....and 48 hours later the pain had gone!
