Drilling locking wheel nut out...
Discussion
Locking wheel nut stuck on, locking wheel nut is now ****** too. The mechanic used a sort of vibrating digger to try and get it loose but to no avail. He said the only way is to get it drilled out is to go to an engineering company, which I did and they quoted me £120 to drill out the locking wheel nuts on both sides.
I'm based in SE London and I've heard that any tyre shop should be able to do it for much cheaper?
Can anyone recommend someone to drill out the two rear locking wheel nuts, I've got some cash, but I don't want to pay £120, that's definitely a last resort.
Kind regards,
ABF

I have used this tool before, but it's if you have access for your application.

Cheap option is hammer on a old socket you dont want or you can buy reverse sockets with teeth that dig into the old head to remove.
Purchased reverse sockets for £20, hammered it on after getting the circle sliding ring on the outside of the locking wheel nut off. Thanks guys
