He was riding like he owned the motorway - complete eejit - and didn't do much to improve people's opinions of bikers.
Is it just horse riders that these have been outlawed on?

There will never be any prosecutions.

Hampshire police issue these vests to volunteers who ride their Police horses to exercise them, and the Commissioner of the Met was quoted as say he thought they were a good idea. So that's a pretty good defence for anyone to bring up in court I would suggest!!

I was out on my GSX-R last night and I came up behind one of these morons, riding a tatty old naked bike - the sort of thing a police officer would never ride on duty, so he wasn't fooling anyone. Bolt upright, doing 70mph on an empty dual carriageway late at night, probably wishing there was traffic around to see him and feel fearful of his jacket. At least until the point they are close enough to see the text properly, and laugh at him.

I often see these guys in pink and blue battenberg'd Honda Pan Europeans, riding in pairs on the A1 near my house. I often wonder where they are going, and what is they actually do - I've never seen them stop or get off.

Not near me they haven't. There are several stables on my lane and idiots wearing this nonsense are riding up and down all day on their st-dropping wannabe burger beasts.

Who cares? we all know they are fake. Pistonheads is becoming the Daily Mail of car forums people get "shocked!", "should I report him, because he's doing something I don't agree with?" Is the standard thread response now. Along with *insert any vehicle other than a car* shouldn't be on the road, unless registered, taxed and insured.
