Had a few beers whilst playing with the eBay app:

Will hopefully pick her up next week sometime. 93 Brooklands LSE, pretty much standard except for steel springs and lasalle headliner. Sensible mods I think!

3 owners, 80000 miles, FSH. Only known issue at the moment is a non-functioning electric drivers seat.

Thank you. The owner has receipts for, well, lots. Including £3k on paintwork in the last year!

First job will be to diagnose the fault in the seat. I imagine it's the ECO but it could be something as simple as fuses/relays/connections.

I'll get it serviced, check tyres and brakes etc then will start waxing it. It's apparently een undersealed recently so I'll get underneath and see exactly how bad it is... I'm not going for perfection, these looks great with some nice patina.

I plan to use it quite a lot. I commute 80 miles a day and I'll try to use it at least once a week. 4.2 v8, I'm expecting 15mpg.

I've got a seat module in the garage somewhere. No idea if it works / is the right one but happy to dig it out if you want.

Thanks very much, if the problem seems to be the ECU I'll send you a message!

Awesome, lovely lovely old buses these, and brought at a good price too. You could throw a party with the space in the back seats!

It can only appreciate in value. The items that need looking at aren't major and i'm sure resolvable with a hanes manual.

My cousin had a Brooklands green D plate vogue se 3.9 auto, and a good family friend a white K plate 3.9 manual, I must own one some day before they get even more expensive. I'm not as keen on the soft dash examples though, they don't seem to fit with the rest of the interior and exterior of the phase 1 Rangie.

Following with interest and a tad of jealousy smile
