I'd always thought that these were 2003 onwards?

The bodywork is without spoiler or splitter, and I 'd thought the Tuscan S badges and kickplates were a fanciful addition of a prior owner... But it's there in black and white on the V5.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

If I remember right my 51 plate said it was an s on the log book when I bought it but everything was standard including bodywork, brakes, injectors and engine management unit so I got DVLA to change it which brought the insurance down slightly.

I had similar bought a Tuscan Mk1 that said 4.0 ltr on the V5, turned out to be a 3.6!

Hahahahah... Seems like TVR don't seem to have kept up a consistent dialogue with the DVLA. No surprise there I guess.

Mine has the uprated brakes and a red rose engine, and to be honest I like the combination of Tuscan S badges and the stock non spoilered MK1 look.
