Positive insurance experiences

I recently was run into the back of. It would be my first dealing with claiming through insurance and I expected the worst.

I was pleased the find that the experience was not bad. The other driver's company didn't quibble fault, they actually sent a letter of apology for their driver having driven into the back of us, and gave a slightly better courtesy car than what we owned.

Naturally there were some claims management companies calling me up, making me aware of the money I could get, but being an upstanding fellow I didn't try to fake whiplash, or an hour's pay for being late to work, etc... Just manned up and got on with it. I wish more would do the same.


Anyone else have positive experiences to report?
