Should i wish to change at the end of the year ive started to look around.
For me the criteria would be Roadster, Auto similar power to what i have and £100K MAX.
Looked at the 430 and the Gallardo but im not sure its me (53) cant help thinking i would look a cock.
I feel comfortable in the Aston without being brash i do get some looks but not as much as the other 2 get, my recent trip to Spain confirmed this.
Love the new jag 5.0 F type but i guess a backward step?
So im left with Bentley? Unless anyone can come up with another alternative.

Of course im looking for a none biased opinion laugh
Its a pity the V12VR is out of my range i havent discounted moving onto a DBS V but its a £30k hike and im struggling to justify this.
Cheers

Really dont get the point of a SLS Roadster. The beauty of the car is all in the gulping doors!

DBS Volante, you know it makes sense! you'll miss that V12 howl.

See you next weekend. Your definitely using your DBS to the max this year!

The doors are a gimmick. They are a pain to use and make it awkward to get in and out of the car. Roadster is the far superior car.

The only convertible 599 would be the SA Aperta. Which is approx 5x the budget.

Good call!!
Missed that one have mixed feelings regarding Maserati there a marmite car for me.
Still a lot of car for the money and fills my needs but the Bentley does have the edge for superiority like the Aston.

Bentley GTC W12 with a tasty exhaust. No brainer really.

The Grancabrio 4.7S is a terrific looker and sounder but the boot is hard to describe... It's the smallest boot of ANY mainstream car I have ever seen. Utterly absurd.

If you want to look like a footballer it's a no brainer. Bentley's hardly portray the classy image they used to.

Neither do Astons. Both bloody good cars though.

yes as a main stream car, yes.....

The boot (cabrio) is smaller than the DB9, I do happen to get 4 (full sized) adults in the car unlike the DB9......

A friend has a 911turbo and is finally getting used to the abuse, whereas the GranCabrio still has the effect of people letting me pull out..... which was surprising smile

The GC is wider and heavier, its quick, but its not like the Aston is quick.... frown ..... the Aston is noisy, raucous, raw, full English Brogue compared to the GC Italian Loafer.

I did get one question as to why I changed my number plate on the Aston ..... confused ..... how could people not know the difference....?

Have no regrets since swopping my Vantage

Plus any car from 2011 comes with a 5 year warranty and 7 years free servicing.

George, 2006 called. They want their comment back as it was relevant then.

Oh, and I've changed my mind; Ferrari California as your budget is 100k!

Yep, between the two cars it's a very easy trade off - the Ok but not great boot of the DB9 Volante with pathetic back seats Vs the abysmal boot of the GC with 4 decent seats.

Right now, the DB9V works better for me...
