after market sat nav dab 996 tt

hi , looking into replacing pcm2 with bose sub system , some are saying you cant use the bose amp and others that you can , consequently prices are massively different 900 to 1500 to integrate the whole thing , any body done successfully and with what equipment please?

Although on my 997, I've done a PCM 2.1 replacement. It was a little pricey but not extortionate. Rather than replacing the amp & possibly speakers I used a box of tricks to perform the conversion. I bought a modern Kenwood head unit that didn't look out of place and very glad I did it.

The PCM 2.1 is really not that old when you consider, but in terms of functionality is prehistoric.
