Tamora boot badge mount plate

Is the boot badge mounting plate ie the the badge you push to open the boot . Is it still available? Mines looking a bit tatty.

Ive tried to get one before Buzz, with no success. Mine too has been looking shabby for a while. There are two types apparently, one which I think is cast, which can be refurbed I believe, but I have the other type which is a plastic surround. Really want to replace it, so will be keeping an eye on this thread.

Ah right... Mines cast. I've taken the Tamora badge,off spoken to a mate of mine who'll re-chrome it for a £10

Do Racetech not have the plinths left? When I changed my badge I looked at the plinth/resin badge option as an alternative to getting a new cast badge.

Hi Buz,

I think there are two types. Cast and flat. Mine is a cast badge with Tamora cast in raised letters. I had it refurbished by Leven but it didn't last long, the acriylic coating and the paint fell out after a while. I've just repainted it actually and it looks pretty nice. The springs had rusted so I found some new ones and generally got it back to new condition. Dropping nuts down the gap when reassembling is a pain though.

Evening guys.

Mine has a metal chromed plinth (like the one in Andy's link) The Tamora gell style sticks on top. I'd take a picky but it's at my mates chroming business I've taken the Tamora badge off and it will be replaced with a Tamora S 4.3 badge similar to Getsis 4.5
