Its a dog to repair. (probably even worse with the rusty look in the picture). I'd guess if you have to ask it's beyond your skills, you could try Fiberon or the like as they can probably do it faster bonding in a new piece.

iirc it's just a bit of threaded rod fiberglassed into the bonnet, if it's wobbling then the fiberglass is cracked. You could try repairing it properly, pay someone else to do it, or do what I would probably attempt first off and pour a load of resin down there hoping that it will set it back in place hehe

Remove the bonnet ,drill a hole to the right hand side of your mark on the picture about 1 1/2" with a starret cutter then fill it with epoxy resin .

Let it set then glue the core bit back in ..

It looks like the black piece the bolt is fixed into is coming loose. Too loose, and you could get a windscreen full of bonnet on the M25.......yikes

As Daz says, bonnet off and re-fix the whole thing. You will need a mate to help lift the bonnet off as it is unwieldy (if he really has forgiven you) and to have somewhere large and soft to lay the bonnet down, paint side down, to make the repair. The marital bed is ideal, if you still have one, plus an understanding wife/ partner. Make sure she isn't in the bed at the time, as telling her she's large and soft could see you repairing more than one nut..... eek
