Aston Martin Transportation - recommendation please
Discussion
I am thinking of a summer run through Europe, and it would be nice if I could transport the car down to Monte Carlo and then drive back through the Alps....
These people are the cheapest I could find.
Has anyone used them before .......

I can't seem to find anywhere, about their liability insurance....
Thanks.....

Hi Maverick
I can highly recommend On-Time Vehicle Solutions. I just had them transport my DB4 down to The Alps for some summer driving. This is the second year that I do this and it works really well and is fairly priced. The car is taken on an eight car covered car transporter to the destination and in both cases they have been true to their name - on-time.

Hmmmm, I don't think that the Mav is being 100% serious. I can highly recommend On-Time Vehicle Solutions. I just had them transport my DB4 down to The Alps for some summer driving. ....ok.... so the above photo might not have been too serious, but I have had a number of quotes from...

Maverick, considering you car is in bits most of the time I don't think you would notice the difference.
Not all my cars are in pieces ......

What do you consider vastly expensive. I actually think is is quite good value (bearing in mind that I don't intend to drive my DB4 to Austria as an alternative). I paid only a bit more that it would cost for myself to take the car there with 3 tanks of petrol, eurotunnel ticket and one over night stay en route). If you then take into account insurance hassle and mileage depreciation it is ok.

But then a low ball offer came in of £490.00 came in, I read it and some guy from Germany will come over on a train and drive the car down there for me...... I serioulsy don't see the point in that......
What a great idea. Somebody pays you £500 to drive their Aston across Europe. Genius.Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
