Webcam audio problems
Discussion
Bought some webcams as we are moving to Canada next year, so throught we test it out
OK got my webcam set up and connected to a mate to check it out earlier (who has also just set it up). Both Logitech webcams with built in mics.
Video is no problem. However we couldnt get Audio workin on MSN Messenger at all. We then tried Logitec Video call and the sound kept dropping out.
Lastly we tried Yahoo Messenger and while it didnt really drop out, it was quie distorted.
Any ideas, really want to get it going with MSN really.
Quite dissapointed all in really
(using XP by the way, MSN Messenger 6.2 and a D-Link Router DSL-604T with all firewalls disconnected)
Any thoughts

Well seem to have made some progress I think!
Was going to check that on my router (and may still have to!). But first found out that if you uncheck QoS Packet Scheduler that can clear some problems. I've no idea what QoS does of course.
So with desktop at one end of my office and laptop at the other end, using two MSN accounts, I got Audio working, although these are on the same router, but fingers crossed its going out into the world of the www and back in.
I'll try properly tonight and let you know
