Thank you for peoples recent advices.

Going to re torqing the head (Just to be safe, it was off a year ago after stage 2 conversion) and to do that i need to take off the tappet rocker rack or whatever you call it. Then put it back on and set the gaps.

I have a few sizes for the gaps, cold and hot but what do others reccomend the gaps to be?

Once this is done I will re-set the twin SUs. Ive no idea how to do it but have a few books and will give anything a go.

Regards.
Stevo.

What engine? What camshaft?

For the SUs, I would highly recommend a synchronizer tool, and a ColourTune kit.

Best,
B.

Will dig through my records. No idea why you're not changing the cam, while you're at it, but the up-side, is that you may not even habe to change needles. Has the compression ratio been altered?

Best,
B.

Changing the cam is a bigger job for me but one I hope to do one day.
Compression and oil pressure are all good.

I'm sorry. It dawned on me, last night, that my specifications would not translate. I had high ratio roller rockers, and a hot cam.

I would think you should be able to use the P.I. version, for valve lash information.

Best,
B.
