Clutch master cylinder
Discussion
Noticed that drips of fluid have come down clutch peddle. Seem to come from the master cylinder where the piston enters the seal centrally ( as seen from drivers footwell if you twist your neck a bit)
Have been told needs new mastercylider.
How much can I expect to pay for this? Is it safe to keep driving or am I likely to do more damage?

One on eBay - not sure if it's the right one though?

TBH, I would just change the m/cylinder. It's easy to wreck the seals when changing them and there's no guarantee the rod will still be ok either. Be a right pain if you got it all back together and the thing failed again 10 miles down the road.
Changing the unit is not really the nightmare TVR folklore would have you believe although you do need a bit of dexterity and the ability to think upside-down. A spare pair of hands is useful too although I've done them without.
