Probably a generic thing but I have a floppy visor irked It looks like a case of unscrew, pull off, new one on, screw in, re-mastic to seal....

Where do the originals come from as I need a nearside biggrin

Thanks folks.

Mike.

Might be wrong. but IIRC, you might be able to put a "crimp" on the hinge to make it a better interference.

I could be harking back to my S series days though??

Take it apart and see if you can wrap some tape around the shaft.

Two pairs on eBay sub £20. Some new looking ones for £40. I paid less that £10 for a good one and sprayed it black.

It works, both of mine have a few turns of sellotape around the shaft . Needs re-doing every couple of years as the tape wears through.

Would heat shrink sleeving work better? Seems to be the answer to most of my problems recently smile

My hinge was just screwed into the windscreen frame with philips head screws. Undo the hinge, slide out of the visor, apply tape, slide back in, replace screws.
