My new car, a BMW 335i E92.

I thought it was about time that I got around to posting some photo's of my recently acquired BMW 335i E92!
It's quite a rare car I think, being; space grey, with a coral red and piano black interior trim... as well as a rare manual!
I wasn't initially looking at 335i's but instead went from looking at B6/B7 Audi S4's, then onto S2000's and 350z's before settling on an E46 M3 and thinking that would be the best choice.
But finding a good M3 proved nearly impossible, and I went to look at one at a local garage (a mint condition M3 in estoril blue) and the 335i just happened to be there as well, was one of the most difficult decisions to make! But in the end I used my head and went for the most practical choice, which I'm pleased I did as I think the running costs of an M3 would've hurt.... a lot!
And I think this one might be remapped... so I'll have to get it on the dyno sometime and see

The engine is sublime, it's just so flexible. Pulls from nothing, all the way to the 7000 rpm redline and sounds immense doing so!
I do have some plans for it though, although only minor to begin within.
I'm looking at some new wheels first, current thinking is; either some CSL or BBS LM replicas wrapped in some Michelin PS3s.
Then maybe a catback exhaust to give it a bit more sound, currently I've disabled the exhaust flap and it does sound quite loud for a standard car.
Then if I'm feeling flush, perhaps look at an LSD and maybe some exterior mods such as a CSL style boot and a front splitter.
