That number plate format looks a bit alien too.

Yikes! I had not noticed the different tyre treads before! They have been on the car years as well. Better get that sorted out! Good spotting.

Plate is pretty Alien to the UK, I brought the car to New Zealand with me. Fitting rear plate was the biggest mission!

Garage was my own design as I had a blank canvas and heaps of space. I can in future drive a bus, camper or boat in there. Also any car on a trailer just drives straight in. The two side doors are also much bigger than normal. Its a luxury to be honest!

Cheers

Three S02s and one S03, at least they're from the same manufacturer.

Not sure when the last S02 was made, what I can tell you is that about five years ago I needed a pair of rear tyres for my other car when I was in Firenze (one of my rears failed). I ended up paying €500 for two S02s that would have cost half that in the UK. When they arrived at the tyre fitter (two days later in the middle of our touring holiday) the first thing I noticed was the date stamp - they were TEN years old!

I was told I could walk away if I wanted, and that was the problem, I would have been walking because the car wasn't going anywhere. In the end I had them fitted anyway.

They failed 18 months later on track at Spa.

I have had them on the car personally for 6 years now, and they were on when I bought it. As you will see I have not done many miles in that time as it took my the best part of 2 years to get compliance to drive the car here. I also had it off the road in the UK during a big rebuild. Perhaps the tyres are getting on a bit as I do feel they are a little twitchy when giving it a foot full? I just put that down to it being a TVR.

I am looking at changing the wheels and so could be a good opportunity to get a deal on a wheel and tyre package and be done with it. But you should see the proce of wheels and tyres down here, its just crazy!!
