2004 Rover 45. Ignoring the absolutely hideous interior... and the badge. Purely as a shed, Are these really that bad

I'm sure there's worse out there (ideas, that is). As for the interior, it really is something else!!

For that price you could probably find an MG ZS 180. Same body but with the KV6, plus they handle pretty well too.

Yep, I have a lovely ZS 180, 2001 plate & its brilliant. Not had any bother whatsoever.

I have also had 2 x Rover 45's in the past & they caused Me no problems either. Don't listen to the haters, they are a decent hack for the money.

Go for the MG if you don't mind a hard ride and a lot of road noise.

No, they are perfectly reasonable transport. That one does have a particularly dire interior colour scheme though.
