My next question in what will no doubt come to be an endless list (i'm fussy and like things right..strange i know for tvr ownership), the chrome trim strip along the top of the door seemed to be peeling! i therefore peeled away the offending piece, of what seemed to be old protective clear covering that you might find over chrome or similar, only to be met by the next layer which immediately started to look like it was peeling.

If i continue to peel, do i end up with no chrome? anyone had this and can it be sorted or is it a new trim piece, if available?

Not mega problem but one of those little things that will annoymad

Thanks
Steve.

Keep peeling away layers till you get through to Australia ;^)

I've seen this trim with no chrome on it too, so I think it's optional.

I did that on one of Delilahs thinking it was a protective vinyl layer, Good job i stopped at only picking a very tiny piece off to investigate further...Try these guys for it..

Sorted around 6 quid from ebay for more than enough to do both doors if anyone needs similar.

If I am honest and doing it again, go for the 8mm wide stuff, I got the 7mm and I think the 8mm would have been better fit.

Looks smart...I just have a plain rubber strip on the 350i...The 280 had chrome strips....Mind you she also had the blingy TVR door handles like yours...But a special handmade alloy switchgear..Class that was...So i might go for the chrome strips on Poppy....scratchchin
