First world dilemma - which car?
Discussion
I need a comfortable car that is smooth, quiet, well made and safe, with 4 doors and a decent boot. For family and getting around town and also good long distance. I dont do many miles so mpg is not that important. Need to be comfortable using it in salt, rain, ice , snow...basically don't need to fuss over garaging it etc. Bit tired of that.
I also would like a fun car. Or perhaps one car that covers both bases. Both should be as trouble free as possible. Car should have an epic engine.
I have 20k to play with but if I can use less, even better . Here is what I'm thinking...Let me know what you think or if you think I'm missing anything.
1.M5 touring with warranty
2.E90 m3 with warranty
3.E39 M5
4.Honda civic 2004 and Cayman S 2006
5.Stretch a tad and get a 456 (dream)
6.Maserati QP
7.Civic FD2 with more comfy suspension mod
8. Fiat Panda 100hp and LS400
9. FJ cruiser and be done
I like the idea of option 4 but I feel I will miss long distance cruising capability on family trips away. I recently drove this vintage civic and could not believe how good the car felt and all for 2k.
Any input appreciated
