Anyone got one of these?
I'm looking give the sound from my TV a boost. Size-wise, the Panasonic is perfect, but a couple of reviews suggest the bass output isn't that great?
Other alternatives would be the Denon DHT-T100 or Cambridge Audio Minx, but these might be a bit tight on space. Would need a man-maths expert to justify the Canton DM50!

I have looked at these and would wish to try one out....but if the area isnt too big the sound improvement will be worth it.

Similar spend (£229) gets you a Yamaha YAS103, which i've just put out on demo in the shop and I think it sounds pretty good...

Thanks for the advice. I'm really looking for something to fit in a space 600mm wide though...

I've had one for a couple of weeks now and I think it's pretty good. The reasons I bought it was; I have a panasonic tv so integrates well with that, I didn't want a sound bar or satellite speakers or separate sub but something that sits and fits in the cabinet under the TV so is visually subtle and only slightly bigger than the bluray recorder. I was after something that upgrades the tv sound and it certainty achieves. The bass is surprisingly good for such a thing. Hope that helps your choice.

I've just ordered a refurbished one from Panasonic UK (on eBay) for 190. Yes, I'm cheap.

It's for a 27" bedroom TV, so nearly every sound bar is too wide and I don't have much space in front of the TV.

The TV and Freeview HD box are already Panasonic, so the Viera thing through a single remote is a massive plus.
