Looking for some info/input/thoughts.

I am looking to start up a British sports car rental company, based in South London. It will start with a few cars depends how many I could afford so cars like Ginettas, noble, Caterhams, Morgans, Radicals, lotus, Ariel.
So probably to start with a Caterham r300, Radical, Morgan and if possible a Lotus elise/exige
Would people be interested in hiring these types of cars, more specifically only British sports cars. If so what would people be prepared to spend on said cars per weekend.
Or am I just a dreamer.....

I'll be back at Christmas time, if you're set-up by then (Family based in SE23. I'd hire a Caterham or Morgan for a couple of days or weekend, if the weather forecast wasn't too bad anyway, if it was not so good, a lotus. Money wise ??? No idea, haven't been back for a few years, what do other company's charge these days ? Maybe a bit lower to insure cars are busy, rather than sitting around.

As you probably know the Classic Car Club does something similar and has been going round 20 years I think. They started small with a handful of classic sports car and have grown it from there.

I guess you have researched this model, but thought I'd mention it just in case

As an indicator of price I hired a caterham roadsport for £175 for a weekday with a 100mile limit. I think extra miles were 10p per mile.

I'm interested as to whether people would hire a radical as a road car smile I certainly would!

PS I think insurance on a Caterham for this sort of use can be about £2000 per annum
