Will be moving to 16 inch wheels all round soon and it's got me thinking to tyres.

What size are people running on the front with a 16 inch rim, same as the back with 225/50/16?

Anyone tried anything bigger?

For the front 225/45/16 They are 2mm larger than 205/55/15

You could fit 245/45/16 0n the rear .

Shouldn't be, as they were standard fitment on the last few Griefs.....but having said that a friend put 225/45/16 front and 245/45/16 rears (Toyo 888s) on his Grief, and spent the first 45 minutes of the track day raising the ride height to stop them catching.

I have had issues with 235s catching on the rear one side, again solved by ride height adjustments (and wearing the tyres down!!).

You notice the issues more on a track due to higher cornering speeds etc

Track day tyres are much wider ,My 235`s on the rear are wider than 245 road tyres . I have a set of 16 and 17" wheels with 225/45/16 on the front with no rubbing problems. Worst came to the worst you may be steering stops ,what ever they are called.
