What adhesive for car badges?

Hi,

As per thread title really, I'm needing to reattach a car badge following a touch up.

The original had grommets but it looks like these have been broken off. So will need to stick it.

No more nails?

Double sided foam tape cut around it.

if ther car has some value then id probably go and buy a new badge as it will have the very thin adhesive pad on the back for a close fit.

otherwise maybe find some double sided foam sticky pads ,cut to undersize and fix that way. of course you can also dab on some glue or contact adhesive.

make sure you dont put loads on because you dont want it running down the paintwork when you press the badge on....

Cheers mate worked out this is what I need seconds before your post.

I'm confident it was what I removed previously and it did the job well.
