May look at this over the weekend, nice spec but not sure If front lift is essential on one of these...

Don't worry about front lift unless you have a particular problem with your driveway entry/exit, splitters are easily replaced anyway. I've had four GT models and all been fine, just the odd cosmetic scrape and without the lift, it's one less thing to go wrong in future.
Update when you've bought it.

Amongst people who regularly track the car (kind of the point of a ClubSport) the failure rate on the front lift system is staggering. As AL001 said above - unless you can't get it into your house without the lift - frankly you do not want it.
Get used to occasional scraping of the splitter and sport mode on the PASM for speed humps (reduces compression and chance of grounding when you drop off of the other side). Just buy it.

New splitters are 100 quid and v easy to fit if they ever come off.
Mine scrape the entrance to my garage on my previous 997 gt3 and now the 996 RS but they also flex ,
Also if they scuff you can easily rub them down and sorus with a black polish.,
Basically lift isn't an issue.,
You won't buy a dud from JZM either it's where my 996 RS came from

PASM doesnt lower the suspension on any Carrera or Porsche for that matter. Its controlling the dampers.
Sorry but on a standard 997 Carrera sport mode on PASM does lower the suspension slightly by I think about 10mm. I'm assuming it doesn't on the GT3 hence the question.Fish said:

PASM suspension is 10mm lower overall than non-PASM suspension. It does not lower the car by 10mm every time you put it into sport mode and then raise it by 10mm when you go into comfort mode.
As ttdan said, PASM just effects the damping rate, not the ride height.
