Hello all new to this forum.

Been riding bikes all my life and finally decided to get into the car world at 21 year old lol.

Not 100% sure about my first car but I like the look of the 2006 John Coooper Works Mini and was wondering if anyone in the forum who is my height, taller or can give me an idea on how much space Ill have in the car, Im 6ft 4.

I'm about your height and drive a Clubman, which is the same as the hatchback height wise and I have no problem at all. I tend to have the seat all the way down and all the way back but even with it up I still have plenty of headroom. Only problem I have is that the rear view mirror becomes a bit intrusive if the seat is higher up.

Hello

I'm 6'3 and there is plenty of room in my JCW, even a helmet is no problem.

6'3 also and no problems at all.
They are a really roomy car if you don't want rear passengers.

Thanks for the advice. I hear theyre pretty quick little cars, is the 2006 a good car?

Yes, it had all the bugs of the early cars worked out, just in time to be replaced.

Headroom will not be a problem, although getting the driving position to your liking while still being able to see the column mounted instruments may take some fiddling.

I'm over 6"5 and have driven mini's a few times, plenty of room surprisingly!

You'll have no problem in the front but you won't be able to have anyone sitting behind you. I'm 6ft and my 8 year old just about fit's in the back behind my seat.

No wonder modern MINIs are so big when they're designed so modern sized people can get into them and drive in cosseted comfort. Pah, I spit on BMW's design ethics. When I were a lad...

I have an R53 cooper S (for sale now reluctantly) at 6'2" and I have far more room in the mini than almost any other car I've driven. You sit so low there is lots of headroom and the upright windscreen makes the cabin feel huge. I cant touch it from a back rested position

Just over 6'4" and drive an R56 Cooper S and a new Cooper S Paceman. The sunroof in the hatch robs a little headroom, but I have very messy hair. Paceman is spot on. The only one I found tight was my old Cooper SD Coupé, never did find an ideal... Had to recline the seat further than I wanted to sit up, which then meant I was closer to the pedals than I wanted to be.
