Crank Sensor problem?

Had the software connected up for a minor tweak of the throttle pots and scrolled through the pages.
Noticed that where all the values are shown as 'OK' (or 'NOT OK' if there is a fault) the Crank Sensor was showing 'SWAPPED'. Never seen that before?
So cleared the faults and adaptions, checked again and it had gone. Car runs fine.
Going out now to remove the sensor and check for contamination, corrosion on the terminals etc.
Anyone seen this before?
