Acrobat Elements

Hi,
I have a sudden need to be able to create and edit pdf files, and I having looked at the choice of Writers I think Acrobat Elements is the one. Can anyone confirm this, and if so, advise the best place to get it from?

do a web search for pdf writers there are plenty on the market and you can get some free if you are not worried about document security
