E28 M5 steering feel issue

Hi all,

Been having a bit of work done on the E28 of late but there's one area I've yet to crack.

When turning in into left hand bends the steering feels light and darty, when turning into right hand bends it feels heavier and loaded up. Doesn't inspire much confidence on the road!

I've just had the KDS alignment, steering pre-load and control arm bushes done but it still feels the same. Garage have suggested a couple of things but not sure what to do.

Any ideas?

Has the steering box been looked at? They're never going to offer the feel of a more modern R&P setup but can slowly die and throw up these kinds of things.

It's where I would start looking after what you've already said.
