Do these fit ok in a Cerbera I am having my dash put back and I bought one for the car but the hood part of the dash above the stereo looks like it might impede the screen when open?

Yes, my Alpine one did, therefore I fitted a spacer. Depending on the unit, there are some settings that limit the tilt of the screen when open. This may help also.

Some of the alpine ones allow for the screen to come out further before flipping upwards, you can adjust it. They also let you adjust the angle of tilt. Not sure if its model dependant or will be far enough though?

My cerb came with a zenec flip front which didnt really open far enough , it was bearing on the dash as you mention. i moved the mounts on the side of the stereo back a bit which allows the unit to sit slightly further "out". this now allows the flip front to open fully.
