Need to replace just one HT lead as it's been scorched on the manifold. They whole set was only replaced a couple of years ago so I don't want to go through that again! I'm guessing I'll need to buy a set or can I get them individually?
Anyone using these? http://www.clever-trevor.net/TVR/Parts_details/TVR...
Are they OK?

When I used to get Black Beauty serviced at Fernhursts they replaced the leads at every 6,000.
Given the overall cost of running one of these babies I considered it a sensible investment.

Thanks guys.
You're assuming I've done 6,000 miles in 2 years?
Guilty of not having done so I'm afraid, but the plan is to use it more...
I've ordered a set, will replace the one that needs doing immediately and then once I've grown bored of the skin on my knuckles I'll get round to replacing all of them!

Oops forgot. Its actually the day after tomorrow now!
Thinking about it, I actually removed the whole fuel rail also, as its so easy to do. This was because I replaced the coil packs at the same time as my leads. But I did take pictures.
If I dont end up drunk tonight straight after wrok I will post them up. But this will still be yesterday for you fellas!
Cheers

on a 4.5 does the fuel rail just pull off?
Cheers Martin, this is what I was tryin' to get to.
After having taken the two metal retaining straps off (a 4.5) is it simply a matter of crowbar'ing the rail off ?
Forgotten what it looks like under there now but are the injectors screwed into the fuel rail or the cylinder heads ?
After removal, I assume that at least some sealant O rings have to acquired or is there some sort of base gasket ?
Thaks all for any help

Absolutely brilliant, Dave - Ta very much.
Just can't tell, with your 4.2, if the injectors hang/drop down vertically from the fuel rails.
On my 4.5 (single fuel rail) I seem to remember that they are angled and I thought that if I lever the rail up then at least one side of injectors will be stressed as they exit their locations.
(Usual old man scared to break anything paranoia)
