Injector wiring sequence ?
Discussion
Just starting the engine loom for my tt 1uzfe and am wondering if there is any advantage in wiring the injectors to follow the firing order as i only have 2 injector outputs so either wire them in two banks odd and even or stagger them between banks following the firing order .
I'm not convinced it would make any difference but might make idle a bit smoother ?

How many ignition outputs do you have?
Last time I wired a V8 using 4 injector outputs I paired the injectors in parallel to the 4 ignition drives (wasted spark), but had problem with fuel igniting during the exhaust stroke when running too little spark advance - you don't want the wasted spark to be unwasted
With 2 fewer injection drives you are going to inject even more fuel at the wrong moments.

It's batch fire regardless, so it'll always be firing wrong somewhere...or everywhere.
I really wouldnt worry about it. Wire to make wiring easy with less potential for faults.
That's what I was thinking just do the two banks . I really wouldnt worry about it. Wire to make wiring easy with less potential for faults.
I can see the thinking behind it for idle but as said its still firing some injectors when it doesn't need to and It's not a big budget car so il keep it simple .
Hot rods are supposed to sound lumpy anyway
