Speedo needle bouncing ??

Hi Folks,

When driving along my speedo needle dances away and jumps up and down bouncing along to its self as I go. Its done this for sometime now and its never bothered me that much. But now I have to try and read the little kph numbers its doing my head in.

Has anyone had this happen and is there a straight forward fix I can try?

Is your odometer clicking over ok?

My needle bounced around for a while before giving up, the odometer also stopped working - the speedo sensor on the nearside of the rear diff had failed.

When I had this it was the speedo sensor on the diff output. Easy to change and someone on here sells a much cheaper alternative part (in the parts section I think) you just have to cut and join the plug to the wiring.

Is that yourself selling these sensors? If so are you up for postage to New Zealand please? Royal Mail Std International is cheap as chips. I have UK paypal and UK bank so can pay in pounds no worries.
