Hi I have a 145 cloverleaf, but am having a few problems with y heating. I am getting heat but not a lot. The engine temp only gets up to around 80 on the dial witch I believe is normal. I have not ad any Alfa experience so am not sure were to start looking. The water tank is up to the max line. I was wondering if and where the bleed valves are so I can test for air pockets.

Also I was looking at a K&N induction kit and was wondering if anybody had any experience with them

The heating problem could be down to a faulty thermostat but if its a pre june 99 car they run at 80 normally (post june 99 models run at 90). Simple question but have you checked that the heater control is working correctly, i.e. when you turn it to cold does it actually go cold as I've seen a couple where the knob just spins on the spindle. The heater controls come off just by pulling them but they can be quite stiff.

As far as I know its a self bleading system so should be any air pockets in it.

hope this helps.

I wouldn't go for the induction kit. They are noisy, draw in hot air and can affect the Mass Air Flowmeter which is delicate enough at the best of times. (German made part ).
If you really feel the need to tinker, go for a good panel filter and some less restrictive trunking into the standard air box.
