I disconnected everything recently during and interior spruce up and no I'm putting the doors all back together, however iv plugged in what I think is the 2 wires to the window motor but I get nothing when operating the switch, I do however have a left over connector with red and white wires which seem to be live, as if I connect this one up it operates the motor whether I'm pressing the button or not, anyone have pics what what connectors go where?

Which door ?

If you are talking drivers door, my money is that you have the connections for the cigarette lighter(permanent live) going to the motor and the window motor wires going to the cigarette lighter - check that the ciggy lighter works properly or only when you switch the window!

You should have a rubber grommet covering the two spade connectors that go to the motor, this should be easy to identify by the shape of the motor connector, although this may have been removed at some stage in the cars life.

Hope this helps in the absence of a useful pic.

Thanks, figured it out, extra connector is just redundant, dunno why it's there, but it seems the wires have been out non incorrectly and blew the fuse, so just got to figure out the correct way now!
