L-Driver Kills after 12 Hour Drink Session

In the same local paper ... 18 year learner driver took the wheel of the Honda Civic after a lads night out - which consisted of 12 hours of solid drinking , drove at 65 mph 
in a 30 mph zone and wedged the car between a road sign and a fence.
His front seat passenger lost his right arm in the crash, one of the rear passengers suffered head injuries when he hurtled forwards - and later died in hospital. Three other occupants were injured - one received severe lacerations to his armpit as his seat belt cut into him, another suffered fractured ribs and a punctured lung and a third -- bruises to face and scalp.
The driver broke his neck and his right leg in the impact. The accident occurred one month afterthe L-driver's own father had been killed in an RTA.
The 18 year old L/driver was convicted of dangerous driving in Manchester's Crown Court, banned from driving for four years and sentenced to three and a half years in prison.

4 lads on the back seat of a Civic? 6 up in total? Must have watched too many cartoons in his formative years.
There'll be a speed camera erected as a tribute no doubt.
