Hotel for Spa - Francorchamps

Is there a 'must stay' hotel in Spa that has a bit of a historic connection with the circuit?

I quite like the Pit Lane in Francorchamps, bloke that owns it is a proper petrol head. He offered to put our cars in his garage last time we were there and we weren't even staying at the hotel, just having a beer.

Not much to do in Francorchamps though, many stay at the Raddison Blu in Spa, more stars but further to get to the circuit but with a better choice of places to eat and drink.

We stayed in Maastricht when we went in 2011 - it's only a 40 min drive to Spa, and there's a much greater selection of hotels to choose from (and stuff to do when you get back from the track).
