Oil warning too.
Handbrake if lifted, It is worth lifting the top off the brake reservoir to check the warning switch works (it tells you if you lose brake fluid).
Assume headlamps not on? No beam lamp then.
While we're on the subject anyone know what the middle lamp between the speedo and rev counter would be used for? On mine it's blanked off with some smoked perpex. Did hotwire cars have an ECU light - would it be here?

I think it's the cruise warning lamp on mine... but sure I looked at something (maybe the owner's manual?!) that showed a lamp in there... I can't recall if it was something specifically for foreign markets though (time for prayers, Sheriff approaching, kangaroo in road, passenger too heavy, that sort of thing).
I suppose seatbelt warning would have been a requirement in some parts of the world back in the 80s...
