Velcro bits on passenger side have detached from struts on roof and are now catching when roof being raised/lowered. Feeling that whole roof mechanism could do with some love pre Le Mans trip and wondered if there's a good independent or roof specialist that anyone might recommend. I'm in Leicester BTW. Porsche main dealer an option if best bet.

It's off to Hartech in a few weeks for a rebuild check up, but they are not roof experts (in their own words).

Thanks

Mine has started freezing during mid-drop. It has been getting progressively worse over the past year and it is right at the end of the bit where the canvas has receded into the back and the next bit is where the rear cover then comes back to cover the hood. It sounds like it either is jamming or is still trying to retract the roof even more when it has already retracted fully and doesn't then know to engage the final motion where the lid pops back.

A few back and forth motions with the roof switch fixes this eventually but it's starting to get a little bit annoying.

Did you look into best option for a fix?

Are there any runners to grease as per the Boxster version?
