Hi All,

I need to get my Rukka jacket and trousers repaired.

From old posts it appears that Nine Lives in Farnborough are, or were, the approved Rukka repair people.

Does anyone know if this is still the case?

Alternatively, anyone have any recommendations for really good textile repairs?

Jacket needs 3 x zips (2 x cuffs and main liner zip)

Trousers need knee replaced, one zip and patch to lh leg.

Thanks all.

The repairers should be your insurers who can buy you a new suit. With that many repairs needed, surely a new suit is a better option? Especially when fabrics are the likes of Armacor/Superfabric/etc... normal polyester/cotton thread and some cheap fabric patch isn't going to cut it.

Sounds worse than it actually is.

The jacket zips had failed already - I'm not impressed with Rukka gear on that front, as its only a year old, and before you say return it under guarantee, I bought it from Germany, and am now paying the cost as they simply wont communicate.

The trousers and jacket are around the £1K mark so don't want to confine them to the bin.

The only damage through yesterday's off was to the knee of the trousers.

I hear you. Sadly Rukka's kit does not hold up as well as their prices. I got rid of my old Rukka suit as it seemed to disintegrate pretty quickly about 4-5 years ago and changed for the HG Master V. The HG kit was of much higher build quality.

Last time I needed a Rukka repair, the Rukka UK importer directed me to Hideout Leather as official repairers.

I was about to recommend Hideout. They repaired my one piece after a track day spill. Be careful as they do made to measure kit and are very friendly…could be expensive going there!
