Can't make it to Le Mans this year, and the closer it gets the more gutted I am I cant go.
Then a supplier came into work and we got chatting, he is having a trade stand at the Le Mans classic. Knowing how much I love motorsport, he offered me a deal..
In exchange for helping him set up and close down, I have free travel, camping, food + beer and a pass for the Le Mans Classic.
My MD doesn't mind, and gave me the time off I need too. The OH doesn't mind providing I pay for the extra childcare, which my mum has agreed to do anyway.

Great news!!!
I know the feeling of relief/pleasure/delight myself. Very nearly lost the business/house/whole caboodle earlier this year (we haven't, and things are now 99% back on track and moving forward again), so Le Mans was very much off the agenda. A very kind pal has offered me free passage down there, with just camping/food/drink/entry to pay, and it turns out the wife squirrelled away £5/week from when it went sour as a back-up Le Mans fund for me so with a few quid extra I am going too!!
