I have just spoken to the supplier of the shirts and caps and as i was not able to secure 50 caps the price will increase by around £3-4 making it cost around £10 for a cap!.

The shirts are still the same as they had a minimum order of 20-30...This has really peed me off as it means the cost has eaten the charity donation and will cost you more..

I was on the understanding that the quantity for the qualification of a discounted price on the shirt and the cap was equal in quantity...So now the only option is to have them printed which i didn't want...Its either that or nothing really as paying more for a cap then for a shirt just isn't right!.

Sorry about this but its been a lot of back and forth with these...AAarrrgghhhh...banghead

In my opinion, I think we should go ahead and do them. I'm willing to pay a few more pounds now that this has happened, as it's too late in the day to be looking elsewhere.

I'm with tony on this one. Bit late to mess about and it's only a couple more quid. Let me know exact cost and I'll transfer you the extra

Hi Steve..Only 19...Its the actual embroidery cost that is pushing the price up, I did look into a cheaper material cap but it was not that much cheaper...Plus the ones initially are of better quality.

Thank's Tony...I will go ahead with the order if everyone is happy..It just knocks me back a bit as I'm trying my hardest to keep the cost's down for everyone...Without ordering shyte..Its not easy in today's un-economical market...Its all about massive companies wanting massive orders..Money grabbers!!!

Thanks Ron..
As said if everyone else is cool with it then i will go ahead..I begrudge paying between 10-12 for a baseball cap to be honest, Especially when buying 10 or more items...Its a 350 order so i guess that only pays one of the receptionists wages!...I imagine in their eyes I'm "Mr Smallfry"...Well I'm not!!!...Im "MrZigaZaga"...Bastids...

I will have to re-calculate the price..I guess if we say a maximum of 4 added by the company due to the short fall on the numbers will push the total price of a shirt & Cap to around 19-20....This is without any added for the BBWF Fund/Charity.

I need a fresh post as regards to the BBWF fund....Cheers...Ziga

Mark given the pressures you are under financially just wondered what the final tally was for last year and the BBWF core funds etc, have we had that firmed up? This surely would support you with some of the inevitable up front costs? Likewise just wondered what was the final amount given to charity last year so we have a target to beat!! yes

It's really nice to hear that you will pay a bit extra and it shows how kind people are when it comes to worthy causes..I have my own personal reasons why i try to help raise money for the needy.

Hi Chris...The reason for opening a NEW BBWF account was so that i didn't get wrapped up in any of the previous 3 years worth of the old BBWF accounts...All i know is..I with everyones help have managed to raise a considerably sum of money for worthy causes..Each year for the last 3 years i have donated the money from the Wedge calendars to the previous fund and as i believe it the money went to charity.

After a long drawn out process after taking on the fest this year i was passed over the 220 from the previous accounts although I'm still not sure what it was for or from or if there is anymore?...

All i know is there are two main con-tributaries to the account/Fund/Charity and that is the Wedge calendar donations from everyone including myself and the Wedgefest.

I have no idea what the accounts were like previously, Though from now on everything is going to be accounted for and a copy of the accounts will be available by request for anyone to see...I even have emails and personal bank statements that back up any transaction i have received or made.

I have realised that organising this event doesn't actually cost anything..As said if a float is built up to take care of the pre-ordering of goods to be paid for at the event then no one person should be out of pocket..I have only had to pay for awards and a FREE shirt for Stewart for designing the logo for this year..I will sponsor that...There was no money in the beginning which was a bit of a disappointment as it could of helped with taking some of the stress out of it all.

Everything else is the cost of a phone call which for me is FREE...People pay for their meals and activities to the venders..Simples....Ziga

What ever it costs Ziga, you've done the work, it would be shameful not to pay the extra for something out of your control for a few quid.

As long as people are happy cos that's the main issue..It gets a bit annoying as you try to do a bit for a good cause whilst trying to cause good.

It just means that there will be less in the pot but there is still the fest itself so we will see what happens, Either way i have 450 to give to the Jennifer trust.

I also want ALL of you in the picture of the giant cheque hand over...Whatever is raised on the day will go towards future fund raising and registered charities.

Thanks....Ziga

I'm not sure if I have expressed an interest as yet (things are still up in the air for me and BBWF).

Would it help if a few more of us ordered both (or the one your most short of?) and see if we can rally enough to get the lower price?

I'd happily have 2 of each if that helps boost things.

I'm also happy to pay a few extra quid, and maybe a little more if it helps boost the charity fund.

I'd deffo say keep the quality and raise the price over going "down market".

They are mate...Perhaps i should of made this an option in the beginning...I don't mind posting them out..In fact I'm doing that for a couple anyway...Im going to remind them again that due to them raising the price its actually taking the charity donation which is for sick children..Im hoping they have a good streak in their heart.

At the end of the day it should still be under 20 smackers as the shirt is 8.79...There should still be a little left for good causes and that can be added to for next year...This year i have already allocated the donated funds to a registered charity..The Jennifer trust which will appreciate how ever much we donate..At present its 450 sobs...So all is not lost...I have until Tuesday to firm up any orders as any later and they won't be ready for the day...Thanks...Ziga
